Tough Drawworks Encoder For Hazardous Duty

Dynapar's NorthStar brand DWD38 drawworks encoder handles the toughest oilfield applications. Its field-replaceable threaded shaft adapter reduces maintenance issues while intrinsically safe ratings mean easy integration into hazardous locations. This encoder also handles high shock and vibration via shouldered bearings, unbreakable code discs, and minimal PCB components.

They are especially designed to be used in off-highway vehicles with EMC, shock, and vibration protection and ability to withstand rough operational environments. Range is 0 to 25 bar, up to 0 to 800 bar. Within the compensated temperature range, accuracy is 1% overall.
